I actually can't imagine woodworking without a proper workbench. Here's mine. I made it using ash and the twin screw Lie Nielsen front vise. It's a 200kg bench, more or less :
My bench, just added the front vise. Salvaged Doug fir joists make up the base and hard maple for the top. Lie Nielsen tail vise as well. : r/ Workbenches
